This aged wood look adds authenticity to any decorating style. Pinnacle products exhibiting these characteristics are referred to as "Classics". Hand Distressed-Refers to flooring that has been scraped, distressed and sanded by hand. These floors feature natural characteristics, a sculpted irregular surface and thus an aged, worn look and usually have softly pillowed edges. Machine Distressed - Refers to flooring that has been distressed and sanded by mechanical means. These floors also feature natural characteristics and deliver an authentic aged visual, while still providing a smoother and more even surface treatment. They usually feature micro-beveled edges.
