Where can I install hardwood floors?
Hardwood flooring can be installed in any room of your home that is above ground. Hardwood flooring should not be installed in a wet location such as bathrooms, washrooms, saunas, enclosed porches or verandas, or anywhere that may require wet-mopping.
If installed in any of these areas you run the risk of the hardwood flooring to warp, swell or crack.
Note: Certain species of hardwood are softer than others. Use harder species for high traffic areas. The Janka Hardness rating will give you an indication of the species hardness. Hardwood flooring is an extremely durable flooring product.
